This Privacy Policy relates to the collection, use and disclosure of personal data, including special or sensitive personal data, by Appglide Solutions ( “Appglide”, “we”, or “our”). Personal Data is information relating to an individual (“you“ or “your“) as more fully defined herein below. Appglide is committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring that you have a secured experience on our website and while using our products and services (collectively, “Products“).This policy covers the Appglide.io website and all the subdomains under Appglide.io.

This policy outlines Appglide’s, its subsidiaries and affiliated companies handling practices and how we collect and use the information you provide in the course of your use or access of our systems through online interfaces (e.g. website, mobile applications etc.) (collectively referred to as “Appglide Systems“). In this Privacy Policy, “Personal Data” means any information that can be used to individually identify a person and may include, but is not limited to, name, email address, postal or other physical addresses, title, and other personally identifiable information. By using our services or products, it will be deemed that you have read, understood and agreed to be bound by this policy detailed hereunder.

Applicability of the Policy:

This policy shall apply to all information we collect through the Appglide Systems and/or in the course of your use of our Products. This policy does not apply to any information that is collected by any third party either using Appglide Systems or through any links on the Appglide Systems or through any of the advertisements and Appglide does not take any responsibility for such information collected.

We will only collect information which you choose to share with us. Information collected about you is outlined herewith.

  • Users must register to apply to Appglide for use of its Products. 
  • During registration, a user is required to provide certain categories of personal information, such as name, title, gender, date of birth, telephone number (Home/work/mobile telephone number), address, college information, e-mail address and password. The information that you thus provide may be required to use Appglide systems or receive Appglide’s services. 
  • In addition, a user may choose to provide, without limitation, other categories of information, such as career objectives, prior work history, job related skills, resume/CV and other job search related information. 
  • You may also choose to provide us, without limitation, any other information such as those to update your account and profile, to fill out any forms, your feedback to surveys, to write articles/use any features on the Appglide Systems.
  • By providing such additional information, users may be able to maximize the effectiveness of Appglide’s Products and services. 

In addition to the above, Appglide may also collect, without limitation, passive information such as:

  • Information about how you use/interact with our site
  • Cookies, page views, geolocation data, IP address, type of browser you are using, OS(Operating System) type, ISP (Internet Service Provider), files viewed and downloaded from our websites, referral and exit pages, click stream data, where you go on our site and how long you stay on any part of the site

Above information is collected for the purposes of testing, improving user’s experience, generation and compilation of aggregate reports, demographic data and related usage information for internal purposes and disclosure to third parties such as advertisers and content partners. Passive information does not identify you to Appglide.io by name and we do not link your IP address to your personally identifiable information.

Consent:

Your decision to provide Personal Data to Appglide is at your sole discretion when you register and create your account on our Appglide Systems. Some services/options/offers/products may not be available if it requires the use of Personal Data that you have not consented to provide. You can consent to sign-up, and therefore receive email/newsletter/offers/communication from us. If you would like to discontinue receiving communications from us, you can update your preferences by using the ‘Unsubscribe’ link at the end of such emails/communications or by contacting us through email on hello@appglide.io.

Use of Information:

Your Personal Data and other information supplied by you may be used by Appglide for the following purposes:

Finally, if you specifically provide Appglide with permission at the time of registration, you may also receive commercial e-mails. We will, out of respect for your privacy, present the option to opt-out of receiving such newsletters and/or commercial e-mails. However certain communications from Appglide such as service announcements, administrative messages and newsletters are considered essential to receiving Appglide services and you may not opt out of receiving them. E-mail messages from third parties are not governed by the opt-out provisions of this Privacy Policy, but we will strongly encourage them to include opt-out processes in their messages to you.

Sharing of Information:

Appglide does not share, rent, or sell personal information about you with other people or non-affiliated companies except to provide products or services you’ve requested, when we have your permission, or under the following circumstances:

  • We may provide the information to trusted partners who work on behalf of or with Appglide under partnership agreements. These companies may use your personal information to help Appglide communicate with you about offers from Appglide and our marketing partners.
  • We will comply with requests and directions of all governmental, law enforcement, court or regulatory authorities, which we believe in good faith to be in accordance with any applicable law, We will also respond to subpoenas, court orders, or legal process, or to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims. By using the Appglide Systems and receiving Appglide services, you consent to Appglide’s disclosure of information as set out in this policy herein to governmental, law enforcement, courts or regulatory authorities
  • We may provide access to personal information about you to employees, agents, representatives, consultants, subsidiaries, affiliates and third-party providers who we reasonably believe need access to information to provide products or services to you or in order to do their jobs.

Your information shall be protected, to a commercially reasonable extent, against unauthorized disclosure/access/use. Your Appglide account Information is password-protected and we have physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect personal information about you. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary, while Appglide will use all reasonable efforts to ensure that any information collected from you or are generated by your use of the Appglide Systems or the services is safe and secure, it offers no representations or warranties that the security measures are adequate, safe, fool proof or impenetrable.

Acceptance of Terms / Changes to Privacy Policy:

Your use of this site indicates an acceptance of the terms of the Privacy Policy. Appglide reserves the right to amend or update this Privacy Policy at any time. We have contracted with third party service providers (like Google) to monitor certain pages of our website for the purpose of reporting website traffic, statistics, advertisement ‘click-throughs’, and/or other activities on our website. Where authorized by us, these third parties may use cookies, web beacons, and/or other monitoring technologies to compile anonymous statistics about our website visitors.
