Challenge
Customer’s partners (repair shops, garages) work on different systems and send month-end statements in different formats. Month-end reconciliations of the data with internal data, closure of books, estimation and also preparation of remittance statements was a key challenge.
Solution
We worked closely with the stakeholders, understood the process and created a team to efficiently implement it with high accuracy and within prescribed timelines. We also automated different parts of the process using Python scripts to reduce time and improve accuracy.
Results
Consistent and systematic implementation of month-end process and accurate data-recon that minimized errors and re-work while reducing the overall cycle time significantly!
Conclusion
We started with a team of 1 resource that has now expanded to 4 team members working across different process and value streams.
